Artsway Gallery & Beads is located in beautiful Salmon, Idaho along the Salmon River. We are at 415 Main Street, in The Country Candy Co. store.
Everything started 6 years ago when per chance I entered a little bead store in New Mexico. I had never seen so many colors and in one place lining the walls what a wonderful experience. That was my first day of beading and collecting beads and supplies and I have been hooked ever since. When the opportunity came to start a little bead store I was excited. Since then things have been continually changing and growing thanks to a lot of support from wonderful fellow beaders and jewelry artists.
I have enjoyed sharing with people who haven't beaded just how simple it is to get into and be creative with beads. For that reason we offer many classes and beading parties. At the very first beading party I met my right hand woman who helps teach the classes. Becky has so much energy and fantastic ideas she keeps me going and inspired and to think it all happened from one beading party.
Most recently our little store has grown and moved into a new space. It is now located in The Country Candy Co. on Main Street. I know this means we will be able to continue to grow and offer you more choices and classes in the future.
This has been a dream for most of my life to be a "working artist" I just didn't know that it would be through beads. They have been the key so to speak to living a creative life for me. I believe that God gives all of us gifts and that we are meant to use them not waste them. I look forward to the many adventures to come and hope you will join me on the trip.
